Course Content

This event aims to offer a down-to-earth approach to evaluation, so that it ceases to be a dry paper-based exercise that just gets filed away, and instead really helps you and your organisation to clarify what you are doing well and what needs to change. We will cover:

· planning your evaluation with clear purpose

· choosing evaluative techniques to fit your context and resources

· how to get meaningful feedback from user groups and other stakeholders

· really good ways to use what you learn from your evaluation

Participants will be introduced to an evaluation framework and encouraged to use real examples from their work to bring it to life.  Come with an idea of some aspect of your work that you would like to evaluate.  Expect to leave clearer on the what, why, when and how of evaluation.
