Course Content

 

This course will provide participants with the opportunity to:

  • Understand the meaning of Personality Disorder and its impact as a diagnosis
  • Explore common problems and preconceptions of working with people diagnosed as having a Personality Disorder
  • Focus on treatment options currently available and consider their effectiveness
  • Examine the support needs of clients, carers and services and ideas of managing this effectively
  • The group is designed to be interactive and the participants are invited to bring along cases or questions for discussions
